About LuxeNest
LuxeNest started from a simple frustration: most home decor content online is either a thinly disguised product catalog or so aspirational it's useless in an actual rented apartment or a house with kids and a dog. We wanted something in between — ideas that look good and are realistic to actually do.
We cover bedroom and living room decor, small-space living, home organization, budget-conscious decorating, luxury interiors and the DIY projects that sit in between decorating and renovation. The throughline across all of it is that an idea has to be specific enough to act on, not just nice to look at.
What We Publish
Room-by-room decorating guides, style breakdowns (Japandi, coastal, modern farmhouse and the rest), organization systems that hold up past the first week, and honest budget content that doesn't assume an unlimited renovation budget. We also publish DIY project guides with realistic time and skill estimates.
Our Editorial Approach
Articles are researched using a mix of design-industry references, product research, and our own experience decorating and organizing real homes. When we recommend a layout ratio, a paint sheen, or a storage approach, it's because we've seen it work — not because it filled out a word count.
We update older articles when trends shift, when we find a better approach, or when something we wrote no longer holds up. Published and updated dates are shown on every article for that reason.
Content Standards
- We write for the person doing the project, not for search engines — practical detail comes before keyword coverage.
- We don't publish sponsored content disguised as editorial, and we don't accept payment in exchange for positive coverage.
- We correct mistakes when they're found. If you spot one, tell us — see our Contact page.
- We don't fabricate expert credentials, reviews, or statistics.
A Small, Growing Publication
LuxeNest launched in 2023 and is still growing. New articles and categories are added regularly — if there's a room or a project you'd like us to cover, we'd genuinely like to hear about it.
